Knitwear Draping
Draped and patterned by Nikki M. Harada. 4 yards of Black 4 way stretch knit.
The process included draping and patterning, creating a mock up, fitting, pattern corrections, fashion fitting, and corrections. Model got to keep the garment.





1912- Edwardian Corset
Flat patterned Edwardian Corset with embellishments by Nikki M. Harada. 2 yards of Olive Green Linen. 2 yards of Beige Coutil. 1 Busk, 8 1/4” spiral bones, 6 1/2” steel bones, 4 1/4” steel bones, bone casing, lace, ribbon, yellow bias tape, and embroidery floss.
The process included flat patterning, creating a mock up, fitting, pattern corrections, fashion fitting, and corrections. I also created a sample based on my research of flossing and embellishments.






1914- Shirtwaist
Flat pattern by Nikki M. Harada. 3 yards of Petal Pink Rayon Fabric. Pleated lace for CF, pleated lace for the collar, rat tail for collar decor, lace for sleeve, hem tape for waistline draw string and ribbon, and hook and eye closures down CF.
The process included flat patterning, creating a mock up, fitting, and pattern corrections.








Norwegian Boned Bodice
Patterned by Nikki M. Harada. 4 yards of Beige Wool. 2 yards of Lining. 1 yard of Hymo. 7 Buttons, ribbon, and corset cording

Empire Corset
Flat Patterned by Kjersten Lester- Moraztka. 2 yards of coutil. Additional materials used: broadcloth, bias tape, bone casing, prussian tape, 12 1/4” steel boning, 2 1/2” steel boning, 4 1/4” spiral boning, and 6 rigilene.
The process included cutting out of fashion fabric and assembling.
